last sunday is such a memoriable and one of the most experience moments in my life. other than school, army and worklife, this seperates everything. this day also make me realise lotsa of things about myself which i doubt it sometimes.

for those whom have not try running or wanna start, well i think you should. you will not regret it in the end. go and join marathons and theres lotsa of them coming up. for me, i never run to win however i want to challenge the impossibilities. My first 42km run and my ever first MARATHON. pls it is my first. from the begining i vow myself to train for this run and keep training untill the race day comes.

honestly i did spend quite a sum of money on seeing the podiatrist, Dr tye and buying 2 shoes, race and training shoe. did buy some other stuffs like pouch and medication. and i train hard at east coast, my running route from marsiling to yishun or bishan with kim and vince . hitting gyms to train my trunk and arms. everything means nothing now coz it is worth doing every single bit of it.

i could still remember 5 days before the race day, hanns told me to run a full km and let my body remember the pain. and i did. i hit 42km before the race day. the pain is so excruciating and i told myself i cant let my body take over me. i feel like crying and i scream in pain inside. when that happens, it start raining and im running in the rain. SObSOb.. my hamstrings and calf frozen like the ice. my body fill with heat. worst still i got to work the next day.

the race day comes. well WOW it is so damn crowded, all of us look like a colony of ants in birds eye view. haha will post the experience on the race day later with pics. hehe..

i would like to give my blessings to hanns, kimberly, vince and jai.. also for those whom support me in anyways. thanks yup thanks to my friends at work for wishing me good luck like Tini, kak sah, wani, izumi, aNNA and etc. well i did have an experience time of my life.

OMG SCM is juz a week more. and im trying my best to hit my 3/4 of 42km before the marathon. well im planing to run this friday morning at East Coast Park. haha if any of u guys gg there to run WELL c yaa man.. do come and drop to say hi to me..

i would like to thank my special love ones, family and friends whom have encourage me thus far. everything happen for a reason in this life. their encouraging and comforty words lighten my darkest mind which somehow is still dwelling on what had happen.

first and foremost i would like to thank hanns for allowing me to take a breather before i start work. thanks so much for the trip eventhough it is not overseas or anything luxurious.

well this pic's were taken at our trip to; sentosa.. haha i have a few more pictures but post it later. we went to various places at sentosa. not much thoug but i still got my dream achieved on that day. well i got to touch the dolphins. wow i know they are ugly unlike their other cousins, the bottlenose dolphins. but having them is such a bless.

i read in journals that humans do therapy with the dolphins to promote recovery thus healing. and dolphins by nature is one of the most intelligent creatures around.

i manage to get close to them for FREE!! but actually nothing is for free. look at the pics lah. i need to do some hulla before meeting them upclose.

tOdaY is uneXpectedLY BuSy

well today is such a hectic day for me and for my friends too. firstly its monday secondly, hmm there is no secondly apparently. everything is un-planned and my shift starts in the middle of business. it is like stuck in the middle of the WAR!!!! CHIONG!! section straight ahead, enemy behind tree, bla bla bla..

worst still i come to realise it. it is not my work which is busy but its the people whom we are working with make the PLACE likE THE WET MARKET.. thus busy.

Dr's and nurses alike. goodness. the dR's are make the condition so LIFE TREATENING but actualy in real fact it is not. CALM down. well please dunt think im bias. well the nurses too. working in a women LINE, it is kinda of difficult to understand ladies. they are like fruit u see. some are sour while others are sweet. they are fragile and their lips are the most powerful tool. dunt get me wrong, some love to nag, complain and hmm talk more. but i definitely appreciate the sweets one. yummy..

well thoug todays experience is terrible but i always look forward for tomorrow. i really do. tomorrow is a new day. and i hope it is much calmer and peaceful than today. be well and tAke CAre..

SeLAmAT HarI RayA (PART 1)

muslims all over the world celebrate our victory of fasting in the month of ramadan and welcoming syawal. in the last month, we endure and refrain ourself from eating and drinking in the day. these days is fill with spritual activities not even in the day but we do go for terawikh (optional but best to go). its because the one, tells us this holy month is worth more than a thousand months of praying. this month is a holy month indeed. not only hunger is tested but even the human will and patient too.

well when syawal comes, we pray in the morning at the mosque. after that, we would gather everyone and ask mainly for forgiveness for our sins, our words and our actions towards our mums. dad, brothers and sisters. (depends on thier prefernce)

then, we sit at the dining table and EAT ALL THE rendang ketupat and serondeng!! for those readers whom dunno what is this. well it is a common dish to have. rendang well u guys should know.. ketupat is the diamond shape fill with rice, juz like lontong!!.. serondeng, it is make from coconut with spice. its usually orange in colour. go check it out.

Aunty rosie was the event manager for her church fun fair last sunday. well i did have a great time spending time with them. too bad im fasting if not, i would be able to eat aunty rosie's cooking. haha YUM YUM.. thanks kim for inviting me.. great experience and definitely is an eye opener for me. eventhoug i attend to the same event last few years at the same church.

kudos to them and i hope their goals for this event is met..

NurSES @ wORk

haha well dunt come and tell me that u need to be a female to be a nurSE!!! im gonna hang u upside down. but anyway i started working for the past 2 weeks as a nurse,. WAH damn shag ler, doing shift work, answering call bells, taking reports and updating my charts for the kings of the medical field= DOCTORs.. NurSes are the Queens.. sound so WRONG.. bleah

but i have been welcomed by nurses of TTSH warmly and encouragingly. my frnds at work is so much fun to work with and they make me feel that losing touch for 2 years is not a problem. they teach and show me the way back to nursing life. OMG sound so holy and noble. haha im looking forward to work everyday and learn as much as i can. ThaNKS GuYs,.. pls keep the fun and great place to work in, ALIVE..

ps would personally thanks to my preceptor for enduring my cocky blur face everyday.. Shes a patient woman with a big hearT. thanks Snr AN Sarimah.

as you know we singaporeans live in a country who wants to be NUMBER 1 in everything from the first highest man-made waterfall in asia, if u dunt know i think so too.. at jurong bird park, or the one of the kind water fall platform for the NDP. or be number 1 in the Q, in the pc shows.. haha everything number one.

but let us go with the flow. well KPE 10km run is quite an exprience for me becoz it is my first ever run competitively i have ever done. well obviously kimmi and vince would say,"yeah rite!" but it is true and nothing but the truth. i went together with wei chong, one of my ns mates. yup miss them too actually.

how was the exprienced like?? hmm let imagine running without music or any form of entertainment except the ones running..quite boring.. when i look left, its the wall when i look right haiz the wall again.. and it is so stuffy especially when u are reaching ur 7km run.. the heat is taking the toll on u. and as for me it do really because im fasting too.

as expected i did manage to run as usual and with the timing of less than 45mins. haha well just 10km but i did wait for weichong.. he damn slow lah.. haha..

wahliao guys if u remember this is, it reminds u of the days in the army. this song is stuck in my mind right now. well i ord last week and transition from army to civilian life is easy for me but i wonder what are the rest doing? we used to curse and swear upon our ancestors why do we have to serve. wasting our 2 years while the female in the civilain life takes on the challenge in workforce/study life and move forward. guys we are lack behind due to this service we pledge to do.

for those who are reading this and have yet serve your NS well good luck and may the force be with you.. others who have will shout ORD orh.. so common and i wonder how they keep this tradition of saying "ORD WOR!!"alive till today. u will face uncertainty and anxiety when you first do your confinement (unless if ure not posted to ARMY, lucky you) but dont worry. you are still in the island and what my CO always say;"every training will come to an end." haha yup..i always keep that in mind.

after 3 days at work, i felt that my experience there is worthwhile. i got ladies showing temper at me for no reason. well no problem man, im so used to mens showing off temper too. well it somehow make us stronger and its NOTHING compare to army days. civilian life is simple depends on yourself. me i mean. haha

well guys and gals now running is the "IN" thing to do. if u peeps joing the standard chatered marathon, this small 10km etc is also one of the best way to train and at the same time know your body well. this run for hope is one of the races which u peeps should not miss. it for the research for cancer and also well my 2nd project involves cancer too but its for the childrens.

here's an update of my progress on my 2nd project. now i have 5 paintings done despite my busy schedule in NS and training up for my runs. however it is much more challenging when i need to start work asap, tomorrow. i will definitely try to paint another one b4 off to work tomorrow. well the other paintings is not for view yet because i dunt want to expose the suprises out so early. so do check it out in my blog.

well somehow while i was painting my 2nd art piece for charity my mum asked me a few questions. she said," are u supposed to revise ur nursing stuffs more than u wasting ur time to paint!..", " which is more important??"

heres the situation, i occupied my thoughts with things i want to do like doing a short film thus it is doing not so well. my director is busy and put our project on hold. then now in conjuction of my first 42 km, i wanted to raise funds for my adopted charity by painting and selling my paintings. the painting is an abstract of the world of cancers.. but who the hell wanna buy by an in mature artist.

look at the situation i am in. can i make it? sometimes i wonder and think, is this the right thing to do? im gg to ord and gg to work in ttsh.

i want to make a public anouncement;

to my pillar of motivation and encouragment, thank you so much for erasing these uncertainties. you are the only pillar which do so and for that i am greatful. you keep me gg to chase these small unrealistic dreams i have. U shower me with the beautifulness of life..

well i am indeed proud to felicitate the paddlers whom clinched a silver medal yesterday and hence it is the topic of the week for singaporeans. it have been years since singapore own her first silver medal.

the team has indeed make singapore proud but mayb not all her citizens. singaporeans mind are all differ opinions in this take. i admit even me. why singaporeans complain so much thoug. even if they are not from the bloods of our motherland but they still do carry the ensigma of our singapore flag.

we have to admit that singapore did not have a strong pool of sportsmen but we are doing well slowly. it is not easy to train one sportsmen in general. these people need to have good coaches good nutritional needs good experience in their specialise sports areas and last good support from the goverment and the public.

unlike our friendly countries like us or china. they have build a strong foundation and indeed started young. in china, u need to be the best out of the best to be trained. and they goal in life is to win a medal and compete in OLYMPICS. see people? this is their goals and should plus a must to have in all sportsmen to be. aim high and work towards it.

enough of commenting and once again i would like to felicitate the teams to bring the singapore name at a world level. my blessings goes to you. thank you very much.

i have been running since and at the same time gyming. so shag lar... i jog from my home to bukit timah to np and go gym after that. i need to do this coz of standard chartered.

damn i feel so shag. i dunt even have my mp4 on.. wah!!!

let us celebrate a hectric occasion, firstly a happy nurses day to all nurses! 43th birthday to our motherland and lastly a happy 10th aniversary to the Singapore Nurses Toastmasters Club.

ironically i didnt know what i was attending for, my lecturer call me up and invited me to a dinner. she didnt even tell me any other "infor". when i reached at sna house, theres a lot of familiar faces there.

basically im at the toastmasters event. and i would love to falicitate those who are involved in the prize giving and the appoinment holders. in that few hours or so, i learned a lot of great and beautiful words used by the members. Good job. i really enjoyed myself thanks to them. below are some of the photos.
